Waste water - The do's and don'ts
Don't clog your drains - Do you know the do's and don'ts?

A household's drains are all connected to each other. Therefore, it's important to know what is allowed to be flushed down, whether it's in your kithchen, bathroom or elsewhere, to prevent it from being clogged.
It's also important to know that the flushed down water all goes to the waste water treatment plants and wrongly flushed down goods negatively effects the water.
Allowed to be flushed:
- Water
- Pee
- Poo
- Toilet paper
- Other things that come from inside your body

Not allowed to be flushed:
- Cotton buds
- Medicines
- Chemicals
- Hair
- Fat or oils
- Wet wipes
- Period products
- Anything else

What to do with:
Oils and fat?
Recycle it by putting it in a plastic bottle and leave at the recycling central when full.
Old medinice?
Leave it to a pharmacy (apotek) for free in a plastic bag.
Other (Cotton buds, pads, tampons, hair, wet wipes, etc)
This goes in the municipal waste. Put a bin in your bathroom for easy access! Other packaging is recycled as instructed on the back of it.
