Reuse - buy second hand

Buying things second hand isn't only cheap, it's also very environmentally friendly.

Swedes are pretty good at recycling, but Sweden still have a big environmental impact. This is because of our shopping habits and consumption. Second hand shopping makes a major difference for the environment becuase of all the saved resources it takes to make something new, like garments or furniture.

To give away or sell your old stuff is a good way of living a green lifestyle. You can bring smaller things to the recycling central, which will be brought to their own store Återbruket. You can also bring things directly to a second hand store, but remember to always call beforehand. Larger things can sometimes be picked up by the store.
